The tea room is open all hours and is available to bus t
ours, bike riders, walkers
and campers. As you arrive friendly farm animals greet you and can be patted
and fed by children.
Set up inside the shed surrounding the actual kiln it provides undercover seating for 70 people. Here you may have your choice of Bushell's Chicory Coffee Essence or Bickford's Iced Coffee with chicory or standard tea or coffee. We also offer a range of herbal teas.
On display around the walls are numerous items of interest depicting much
of French Island's history.
Surrounding the tea rooms are shady lawn areas dotted with antique farm
machinery and an 1870's salt vat. Here you may enjoy a picnic
lunch and rest stop.
